Never Settle Day Recap- Mental Health & Wellness

Never Settle Day - August 10th - Blaise Training Never Settle
What is Never Settle Day?

Never Settle Day is a high-energy, community-driven event that celebrates mental wellness, physical fitness, and resilience. The day is dedicated to movement, mindfulness, and motivation, bringing together individuals, athletes, creatives, and businesses for an experience that fuels both body and mind.

Whether participants were running the 5K, flowing through yoga, grinding through a workout, or dancing with joy — the message was clear: always show up for yourself and your community.

Every participant also received exclusive merchandise and gift bags as part of the experience. We had so much good reviews on the event and experience. It really lived up to the hype of being the Most Positive Event of The Year.

5K Running Portion

In collaboration with: Cool Runnings & Gratitude Run Club 515

The day kicked off with an empowering 5K run/walk designed for both competitive runners and casual walkers. This portion wasn’t about speed — it was about movement for mental health. Participants showed up to run, walk, and advocate for wellness together.

Yoga Portion

Led by: Good Vibes

An inclusive, all-levels yoga session gave everyone the opportunity to reset and reconnect with their body. Guided by Good Vibes, a staple in the Des Moines wellness community, this session provided restoration and balance before the higher-intensity workouts.

Physical Fitness Portion

Led by: Emmy Godfroy (Orangetheory) & Cheyenne (Spenga Waukee)

This HIIT workout was built for every fitness level — pushing participants physically while encouraging them every step of the way. The energy was contagious as Emmy and Cheyenne led a session focused on strength, endurance, and empowerment.

Dance Workout Portion

Led by: Larissa Flynn (Crunch Fitness – Urbandale)

The event wrapped up with a high-energy hip-hop dance workout that had the crowd moving, smiling, and sweating. With Larissa at the lead, no experience was required — just a willingness to let go and have fun.
